Mike Pence Welcomes GOP’s Lawful Objections

Vice President Mike Pence, who will oversee the Jan. 6 joint session of Congress, issued a statement Saturday he “welcomes” the lawful “authority” in the House and Senate “to raise objections.”

As The Raging Patriot reported, Ted Cruz and another 11 senators reported that they would “reject the electors from disputed states as not being lawfully certified.

Some Republicans have said that they are under pressure from constituents back home to show they are fighting for President Donald Trump in his campaign to root out voter and election fraud.

The group of 11 Senators wrote that they are following the way that Congress handled the election of 1877, which was compiled of “serious allegations of fraud and illegal conduct.”

The statement states, “shares the concerns of millions of Americans about voter fraud and irregularities in the last election” and “welcomes the efforts of members of the House and Senate to use the authority they have under the law to raise objections and bring forward evidence before the Congress and the American people on Jan. 6th.”

On Wednesday, Congress will meet to vote on certifying the Electoral College results.
