Doug Collins, a representative for Georgia, has introduced a resolution that would push to remove Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House, saying she is not mentally capable to lead the House of the Representatives. He said, “Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s unwillingness to abide by the Constitution, combined with her recent actions, call into question her own mental fitness, which is why it’s critical that the House of Representatives demand her removal from the line of succession.”
The resolution says that during her speakership she has spent most of the time of the House of Representatives to pursue “baseless and fruitless investigations” particularly against President Donald Trump and his administration members. The resolution cited the 2019 impeachment inquiry that resulted in an impeachment of President Trump in the House, but it did not pass in the Senate and he was acquitted.
Introducing the resolution Doug Collins tweeted:
The resolution carries on and cites other instances where Pelosi has showed less than acceptable behavior. One specific example was when she ripped up the President’s State of the Union address just seconds after he gave it to the American people. It then talks about Pelosi’s claimed “set up” of the hair salon scandal a few weeks ago.
“Over her tenure of her speakership, Speaker Nancy Pelosi has started to demonstrate a decline in mental fitness, calling into question her ability to adequately serve the House of Representatives and the American people.”The resolution to remove Nancy Pelosi as Speaker of the House
In the resolution Collin’s referenced when Pelosi said “Good morning, Sunday morning” in the middle of an ABC Interview. He said that Pelosi “appeared confused and exhibited bizarre behavior.”
Fox News reached out to a spokesman for Pelosi, but they did not respond with a comment.
